FineForm has worked throughout Western Australia with completed projects spaning from Perth metro to the Pilbara mining sector and offshore works at Christmas Island.
Highly experienced personnel as well as its extensive range of plant and equipment allows FineForm to complete all facets of the formwork and concrete trades from minesite civil works to inner city high rise.
FineForm’s growth since it's establishment in 2007, can be accredited to its strong work ethics and ability to build effective relationships with clients.
Management Team
FineForm’s management team consists of Joe Melia, Domenic Marciano and Brett Walters.
Joe started the company in March 2007 and as always planned Dom was to join him soon after his last swing drilling underground in May. Dom and Joe grew up together attending Aquinas College. Dom and Joe’s hard working background enabled them to double and on occasion tripled their turn over every year for the first 4 years. Dom quickly took over all site operations allowing Joe to concentrate on quoting and day to day running of the company.
In 2008 Brett joined the company. Brett and Joe had been friends for a long time and Joe knew Brett would prove to be a valuable asset and essential to the growth of the company. Joe was looking to create better systems and procedures to enable FineForm to become an industry leader in concrete and formwork projects and the goal of becoming a whole structure provider was set.
Brett being of a finance background took Fineform to another level with regard to estimating planning and overall output. The majority of estimating is now undertaken by Brett allowing Joe and Dom to spend more time on-site where it was most beneficial to the company. The natural progression from office management was for Brett to become a Company Director.

Georgiou Group

Hollywood Private Hospital Medical Centre, Nedlands
Georgiou selected Fineform to assist in the construction of an addition to Hollywood Private Hospital in Nedlands. The project is backed by globally respected company Ramsay Health Care, the nation’s largest private hospital operator. Ramsay also run Attadale Rehabilitation Hospital, Joondalup Private Hospital and Glengarry Private Hospital in Western Australia, to name a few.
The development will be Western Australia’s first 'one-stop cancer centre' providing a comprehensive hub that offers a broad range of treatments. Fineform will construct two radiotherapy bunkers which requires 2m thick concrete walls along with suspended slab of the same thickness. This centre is the beginning of Ramsay’s plan to make Hollywood the premier private hospital in Western Australia, with further stages to be developed soon.
Fortunately, there is generous set down space and a dedicated construction gate at Hollywood Hospital, however some small challenges were presented. Due to the hospital being close to residential dwellings Fineform must not use these streets to access the site and start works after 7am. Therefore, traffic management planning and deliveries to site must be scheduled with our logistics team in advance to decrease noise and disturbances.

Georgiou Group
Builder
Skybridge, Perth Airport
Fineform partnered for a second time in 2019 with Georgiou Group to develop a 280-metre walkway known as the ‘Skybridge’ connecting Terminal 1 to the new Forrestfield-Airport train link. Providing an elevated and sheltered path over the main carpark which also links T1 and T2 allowing succinct and safe wayfinding.
With construction taking place on secure and restricted grounds, our workers must complete an Airport specific induction to safeguard all individuals. Another time-consuming factor is deliveries to site, vehicles entering must be escorted and all machinery must be registered before operation.
The client Perth Airport, are rightly foreseeing the rapid growth in Western Australia and have set the foundations to accommodate. Along with the Skybridge construction, a new runway project is during approval stages, the Forrestfield-Airport rail link is close to breaking ground and over time multi storey carparks will be developed to meet demand for passengers storing their car whilst travelling.
Previous work with Georgiou has been immensely successful and the expectation is parallel with Skybridge. Prior to this project, Fineform was accredited Georgiou’s national safety award for its faultless level of procedure and execution on the Edgewater Train Station Multi Level Car Park.

MYVISTA Retirement Living, Mirrabooka
Due to the unfortunate demise of Brosna Construction, Fineform were instilled to complete works and are now at the concluding stages of the construction process. The contemporary building development in Mirrabooka is in a prime position located off Reid Highway, within walking distance from The Square Mirrabooka and public transport stops at its doorstep. MYVISTA will provide a 112-bed aged care facility, corporate offices, hydrotherapy pool, café, pharmacy and 24-hour gym
This is the maiden partnership between Pindan and Fineform thus far being vastly positive, Fineform had a smooth transition process onto site and beginning works. We hope to continue this relationship and look forward to working with Pindan again in the near future.

Kassett Pty Ltd

New Town Toyota Service Department, Welshpool
Fineform was selected to development the brand-new New Town Toyota Service Department on Welshpool Road. Fineform commenced construction in March 2019, progressing efficiently the team is expected to handover works for fit out in late 2019.
The building will create an exciting new space for guests and staff, along with a secure basement carpark to protect New Town Toyota’s vehicles from the elements and vandalism.

SKS Group
Builder
Doubletree Hilton Waterfront
Fineform has partnered with SKS Group, a Perth based overseas investment firm founded in Malaysia. This maiden venture will see Fineform assist in the construction of the Hilton Doubletree, an 18 storey, four-star hotel. This exciting new addition to the progressive water front will provide panoramic views of the iconic Swan River, Kings Park and Perth City.
One of FineForm’s main tasks was to complete the lift shaft and stair well core, this was achieved within 7 months to then progress onto the main structure. However, the clear test was constructing over the Swan River. This required to us to pile deep into the bedrock below the water, build pile caps to suspend the formwork and then begin the construction process. Fineform treats the environment with the utmost respect and as a part of its corporate social responsibility, we worked carefully to ensure no material or matter was leached into the Swan River.
A highlight for FineForm will be the construction of the swimming pool located on level 5 of the Hilton Waterfront, this will provide a unique experience for swimmers upon completion, being one of the only pools on the Swan River with onlooking views of the city and Perth’s breathtaking landscape.
