Joe Melia - Managing Director

Joe grew up in the construction industry. His father Bruno was a builder and Civil Engineer for Sabemo and Transfield in his early days. Joe from a young age always enjoyed being taken to work sites, generating his passion for construction. Learning Concrete and Formwork from an early age led to Joes focus for his career. From 2003-2005 Joe worked in London as a quantity surveyor, always planning to return to Australia and start a business with Dom. After working for a further 2 years in Perth as a concreter and formworker Dom and Joe's plan came to fruition in 2007.

Dom Marciano - Construction Director

After completing his education at Aquinas college, Dom launched himself into the undergrounding mining industry, quickly becoming one of WA’s best underground drillers. His relentless work ethic was always going to be a key part of Fineforms success. Dom worked in Perth as a concreter/formworker between 1998-2006 then returned to drilling for a short time before joining Joe in creating Fineform. Dom’s charismatic personality aids him in maintaining Fineform’s healthy working environment with our personnel and clients.

Brett Walters - Business Director

In 2008, opportunity arose for the business development and growth of Fine Form Concrete and Joe’s long-time friend, Brett joined the team.

With over 12 years’ experience in the Finance and Business Industry, Brett implemented procedures and systems, with a focus on estimation and daily operations which proved essential in the expansion of the business.

By 2010, Brett proved to be a valuable asset and essential to the growth of the company and as a natural progression was made a director of Fine Form Concrete.

Nathan Skepper Project Manager/Contract Administrator

After completion of his year 12 studies Nathan completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Management. Marketing roles with Wesfarmers Kleenheat Gas, British Gas and Philips Electronics followed [Both UK based]. Once back in WA, Nathan followed a more sales centred approach with Onesteel, based in the mining and construction industries. This lead to a crossover with Fineform as a client and then eventually a colleague in 2010 once they realised the shared passion for success in construction.

Steve Shaw - Surveyor

Steve is Fineforms Senior Engineering Surveyor and has 20 year’s experience in construction and engineering surveying.Having completed his studies in South Africa in 1998 and immediately began working within the Civil design industry undertaking large field surveys for preliminary developments in and around the Durban metro area. Following his initial 3 years in South Africa, Steve took up the opportunity to travel to the UK and gain experience abroad. Steve Quickly adapted to working in London among the main developers and was eventually sponsored to remain in the UK and continue his employment as a roaming setting-out engineer with Galliard construction for a further 5 years.

Due to various opportunities arising in Australia Steve decided to base himself in Perth in 2008. Steve have been privileged to have worked on major construction projects in the Perth Metro area and in the oil and gas industry in the North west. Currently Steve has been a fulltime employee with Fineform the last 4 years but had previously been working alongside the company as a contracted Surveyor through Precision surveying services prior.  Steve’s keen eye for detail plays and integral part in assisting with quoting and sub-management of the company.
