Perkins and FineForm collaborated with Roy Hill Holdings to construct a cutting-edge corporate headquarters and Remote Operations Centre (ROC) in Western Australia’s northwest.
This facility enables the company to oversee its Roy Hill mine operations—situated nearly 1500km away—encompassing port, rail, and mining activities from a distance.
The design aims to reflect Roy Hill’s established corporate identity while providing a high level of amenities for operational staff and incorporating advanced technology.
Completed by Perkins Builders in just 76 weeks, the headquarters spans 9,000m² across three floors, includes basement parking for 100 vehicles, a canteen, and an alfresco terrace.
The ROC itself serves as a central hub for automation, featuring data rooms, UPS and battery rooms, and emergency generators, demanding technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
